Agnes LaRue Stephan Miller, 90, a lifelong resident of Westminster, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Golden Living Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Westminster.

Born Nov. 11, 1922, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late John K. and Bessie A. McGee Stephan. She was the wife of George H. Miller, who died in 2010.

She was a graduate of Westminster High School, class of 1939, and was a lifelong member of St. John (Leisters) Evangelical Lutheran Church in Westminster. She spent her working career as a sales associate and office clerk for G.C. Murphy and J.C. Penney department stores in Westminster.

Surviving are a son, Dale H. Miller, of Westminster; and a granddaughter, Chelsea E. Miller, of Falling Waters, W.Va.

She was predeceased by a son, Sidney D. Miller, in 2008.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster.

Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. John (Leisters) Evangelical Lutheran Church, 827 Leisters Church Road, Westminster, with her pastor, the Rev. Kristin Dubsky, officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.
