Alan Brian Lynham, "Magee", 66, passed away peacefully on Monday February 26, 2018, after losing his battle to cancer. Born April 8, 1951 in Ferndale, Maryland, he was survived by his Mom, Louise Lynch Lynham and the late John C. Lynham, Jr. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Albright Lynham. He was the husband of Wendy Godwin Lynham. Alan graduated from Glen Burnie High School. He was a Civil War history buff and won an essay contest on "Patriotism" when he was 17 from the Maryland Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers. Alan was a Services Technician for C & P Telephone, AT & T, Bell Atlantic and retired after 30 years of service. Alan loved his large family and many friends and would do anything for anyone. Alan is survived by his daughter Kristin Lynham and her partner Wayne Rogers and son Nicholas Lynham and his partner Kerry Schupple, stepchildren Mike Loughry, Jason Shafer and his wife Joy, Heather Peters, Sarah Peters and Will Peters, beloved grandchildren Victoria Roberts, Billy Roberts and Holly Roberts, brothers Dick Lynham and wife Betty, Jack Lynham and wife Carollee, Roger Lynham and wife Rennie and sisters Norma Boeckmann and husband Jerry, Audrey Macmillan and husband Dave, Mary O'Connell and husband Bob and special friends , Marty Struble and Everett Cash. He also had many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Alan's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services-Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Sunday March 4, 2018 from 3-7 pm. Interment: Private.
