Albert C. Franklin, 92, of Dundalk died on Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson after a brief illness. He retired from Bethlehem Steel with more than 25 years of service. He was a WWII Army veteran, an honorary member of the VFW, Moose Club and Dizzy Club. He was also a magician with the USO. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, playing cards, and spending time with his friends and family. He was the husband of the late Louise Franklin. Surviving are children James Franklin and wife Judy, and daughter, Debbie Hering and husband Don. Grandchildren were Tim and Tom Storck, Vickie Hickman, James Franklin, Rose Adams, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, brother Ray Franklin and wife Nadine of Crescent City, CA, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by step-son Anthony (Butch) Goeb, brothers Adam, Frank, Leonard, Anthony, and a sister Marie Kulig. A graveside service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens in White Marsh on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Gilchrist Hospice, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Timonium, MD 21031.
