Alice M. Dorm Green, 86, of Reisterstown, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born on June 4, 1928 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Ella Arnita Jones Cooper. She was the wife of Odis William Green, her husband of 38 years. She was the family Matriarch. She was a retired nurse at Springfield Hospital. She was a lifetime member of Union Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess, church historian, and enjoyed doing missionary work. She loved to travel, enjoyed gardening, puzzles, community work, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are children Maybelle Randolph of Westminster, Clarence E. Dorm, Jr. and wife Dolly of Ocala, FL, Alicia Norris and husband James of Westminster, Diana Dorm-Boodoo and husband Sam of Randallstown, and Denisa Dorm of Westminster; siblings James E. Cooper, Christine Jiles, Pius Cooper and wife Ethel, Rosalie Sims, Charles and wife Yvonne Cooper, and Edna Smith and husband George; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family. She was predeceased by her son Alan S. Dorm and by siblings Ethel Keys, Elsie Green, Faith Cooper, and Irevia Pryor. The family will receive friends on Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Please use the chapel entrance. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Union Memorial Baptist Church, 160 S. Center St., Westminster with Rev. Edwin C. Smith officiating.
