Ann "Nancy" Regina Gamble, age 83 of Sykesville, died Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Towson. Born October 21, 1933 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late August Gamble Sr. and the late Alice Gibson Gamble. She had been a homemaker for most of her life. Nancy enjoyed the beach and ocean. She loved her dog Jenny and especially loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are children, Mark Steven Tausen (Scarlett), Diane Lynn Steinbach (Kenneth), and Joyce Marie Burrows (Earl Rockwood), sisters Helen Whitmore, Dorothy Hiner, and Marjorie Sevier, grandchildren Scott Steinbach (Alicia), Rebecca Ann Steinbach (Geoffrey Boggs), Christopher Tausen (Brittany Tracey), Kelly Tausen, Bailey Tausen, Bryan Burrows, and Jessica Burrows, and great grandchildren Bennett and Alexis Steinbach, Savannah and Landon Tausen, and Quinn Tracey. She was predeceased by her siblings Elizabeth Wagner, Lillian Beck, August Gamble Jr., and Francis Gamble. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
