Ann R. Hartman, 82, of Westminster, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2013, at home.

Born Sept. 4, 1931, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary R. Wallace Ruth. She was the wife of Frank Hartman Jr., who died April 13, 2005.

She was a 1949 graduate of Mt. St. Agnes High School, where she still served as secretary for her class. She had been a secretary at St. Agnes Hospital for 17 years.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She was an avid Orioles fan and enjoyed being with her family.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Mary Jean and Alan Hinkle, of Hampstead; sons and daughters-in-law Stephen Hartman, of Arnold, Robert and Sandy Hartman, of Westminster, and F. Joseph and Heidi Hartman, of Eldersburg; and eight grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers Charles and John Ruth.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with the Rev. John Lesnick officiating. Interment will follow in New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Carroll Springs School Autism Program, 495 S. Center St., Westminster, MD 21157.
