Anna Mae Welty, 82, of Westminster, went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Carroll Hospice Dove House. She was the wife of the late James Elwood Welty. Born July 25, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William Alfred Green and Barbara Nadine Scheel Green. A homemaker, mother, sister, friend and 50+ year member of Stone Chapel United Methodist Church, Anna Mae was a dedicated server to family and the community. Her faith was steadfast and family was precious. She shared with everyone how blessed she was. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Deb and Marty Liebno of Taneytown, granddaughters April Andalora of Westminster, Angela Hilderbrand and husband Brad of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, great-grandchildren Kaylin Andalora and Tripp Hilderbrand, siblings Bobbie Grossnickle of Westminster, Rosia Day of Ijamsville, William F. Green, Sr. of Damascus and Howard A. Green, Sr. of Ocala, FL. She is especially remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbors and her church family. Anna Mae is predeceased by her husband and 2 children Timothy Welty and Sandra Fowble. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Stone Chapel United Methodist Church, 1448 Stone Chapel Rd., New Windsor, MD 21776, with Rev. Billy Kluttz officiating. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Stone Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
