Armatha Belle Crushong, 90, of Union Bridge, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg, Pa., after an extended illness.

Born July 7, 1922, in Union Bridge, she was a daughter of the late Edgar E. and Agnes Elizabeth Warner Angell. She was the wife of Henry T. Crushong Sr., who died in 1983.

She was a member of Union Bridge Church of the Brethren. She was a housewife. She enjoyed helping people and working in the kitchen at church.

Surviving are daughters Linda A. Sinnott and husband Sonny, of Union Bridge, and Katherine M. Bell and husband Ronald, of Gettysburg; sons Henry T. Crushong Jr. and wife Robin, of Gettysburg, and Robert E. Angell and wife Jan, of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sisters Evelyn Haines and Esther Nusbaum.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Bridge Church of the Brethren, 124 S. Main St., Union Bridge, with her pastor, the Rev. James Benedict, officiating.
