Arthur Ronald Bromwell, 87, of Westminster, died Monday, December 28, 2015, at the Carroll Hospital. He was the loving husband of Mary P. Bromwell, his wife of 64 years. He was born Feb. 4, 1928 in Baltimore to Arthur C. Bromwell and Alice Eilers Bromwell. He retired from the Army as a master sergeant. He served in the Korean War and was stationed in Japan and Germany. He was also an announcer for WTTR and WRBS and was a self-employed Locksmith. He was a life member of the VFW Molleville Farm Post No. 467 and he attended Calvary Baptist Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 children Glenn Bromwell and wife Sherry of Northeast, MD, Deborah Harbaugh and husband David of Hanover, PA, Gregory Bromwell and wife Pamela of Westminster, Gail Repass and husband Preston of Nashville, Tenn. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with his son, Pastor Glenn Bromwell officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Baltimore Ministries, P.O.
