Arthur Phillip Crumbacker, 70, of Westminster, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at home.

Born Aug. 28, 1942, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Amy Elizabeth Fritz Crumbacker-Zile and Charles Herbert Crumbacker. He was the husband of Cindy Talbert Myers-Crumbacker, whom he married June 28, 2008.

He was a graduate of Westminster High School, class of 1960. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy, retiring after of 22 years and was in the Navy Reserve for nine years. After he retired, he worked in civil service at the Charleston Navy Base.

He collected model cars and enjoyed NASCAR and driver Mark Martin. He was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are step-daughters Brenda Pearson, Judy Reeves, and Linda Harris, of South Carolina; step-children Michael Myers Jr., Karen Gartrell and David Myers, of Maryland and Becky Hellyer, of Pennsylvania; brother and sister-in-law Randy and Beth Crumbacker, of Baltimore; granddaughters Jessica Hinsong and husband Danny, Lisa Lindsey, Katilyn, Megan and Sarah Myers; grandsons David Pearson, Tyler, Christopher, William and Luke Gartrell; great-grandchildren Trey, Brianna, Braylen, Ben, Robbie and Riley; and a niece, a nephew and a great-niece.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Schafer, of St. Benjamins (Kriders) Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Kriders Cemetery.
