Barbara (Bobbi) Vaughn Stoner Grady, 79 of Largo, Florida passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Florida surrounded by her son and loving family. Born May 14, 1936 in Westminster, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Daniel B. Stoner, Sr. and Mildred Dowe Stoner. Bobbi was a graduate of Westminster High School class of 1954 and the University of Maryland with a degree in History class of 1958. She taught school in Carroll County for a short time. She served her Country proudly in the Women's Army Corp. as Lieutenant. She also completed the Veterinary Technology program at St. Petersburg Junior College. Bobbi was employed as a cook at Pueblo Village, worked many years in the culinary department at Largo Medical and as a veterinary tech in Largo. Bobbi was a wonderful mother, hands on grandmother and great grandmother sharing her joy of cooking and knowledge of history with many. She had a special place in her heart for animals. Bobbi is survived by her son Shawn R. Grady, Jr. and his wife Patricia, her grandchildren, Shawn Robert and his wife Cecelia, Zachariah James and Amanda Vaughn Grady, and two great grandchildren, Keiser James Grady and Izabella Rose Grady. Bobbi is also survived by her brother, Daniel B. Stoner, Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Westminster, Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Serenity Gardens in Largo, Florida on Friday March 26th. at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of Flowers Bobbi requested donations to be made to the SPCA of Pinellas County or an animal care organization of your choice.
