Betty L. Hetrick, 69, of Gamber, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Copper Ridge in Sykesville.

Born Dec. 28, 1943, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Lou and Betty Frazitta. She was the wife of the late Arthur "Chick" Hetrick Jr.

She had been a homemaker for many years and had worked in a beauty salon for several years. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Finksburg. She was a member of the auxiliary of Gamber Fire Department. She had been active with Job's Daughters for many years and had been a caregiver for her mother-in-law for many years.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Adam and Lisa Hetrick, and Chuck and Kathy Hetrick, all of Westminster; daughters and sons-in-law Amy and Larry Crowl, of Taneytown, Anne and Chuck Crew, of Westminster, and Alison Hetrick and fiance Michael Jenkins, of Westminster; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Peggy and Steve Shepard, of Baltimore; and grandchildren Tammy Funk, Ben and Kimberly Hetrick, Dylan and Emily Crew, and Addison and Sydney Hetrick.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary United Methodist Church, 3939 Gamber Road, Finksburg, with the Rev. Douglas Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Calvary United Methodist Church, 3939 Gamber Road, Finksburg, MD 21048.
