Beverly Ann Bostian, 76, of Westminster, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born March 24, 1937, in Middleburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leslie and Catherine Mary Elizabeth Hyde Bostian.

She was a 1955 graduate of Elmer A. Wolfe High School in Union Bridge. She worked as a secretary and sales executive in New York, Honolulu and Baltimore prior to retirement in 1993.

She was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Westminster. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, auctions, collecting and music. She enjoyed children and animals.

Surviving are nieces Vicky Higgins, of Hanover, Pa. and Karen Steich, of Abbottstown, Pa.; and many cousins.

She was predeceased by brothers Kenneth Neil Bostian and Ronald Dean Bostian.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Haugh's Cemetery in  Ladiesburg.
