Brian S. Holloway, 44, of New Freedom, PA, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson. He was the husband of Judy A. (Miller) Holloway. The couple would have celebrated 18 years of marriage in October. He was the son of Kay M. (Bollinger) Malone of Shrewsbury, PA and the late Thomas V. Holloway. Viewings will be held 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Assembly of God, 234 N. Main St., Shrewsbury, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1 pm Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Assembly. Burial will be in Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Freeland. Brian was an accountant for Catholic Charities of Baltimore in Timonium for more than 16 years. He was a National Guard Veteran and member of New Freedom V.F.W. Post 7012 in New Freedom, PA. Brian enjoyed being the coach to his children's Soccer and Basketball teams. In addition to his wife and his mother, Brian is survived by his children, Eli G., Jackson T., Nolan W., Nicholas C., Ava C., and Jenna C. Holloway; a brother, Troy M. Holloway and his wife, Laura of Shrewsbury, a stepfather, Larry P. Malone of New Freedom, and a step grandfather, Bill C. Zentz. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, George M. and Mary Ellen Miller of Manchester, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holloway Education Fund, 29 Timbershed Ct., Freeland, MD 21053. J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary of New Freedom, PA is assisting the family with arrangements.
