Bruno F. Szymanski, 83, of Stuart, Fla., died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was the husband of Dorothy Szymanski, his wife of 22 years.

He was a computer specialist for the Department of Defense. He was a veteran of the Marines, serving in the Korean War. He moved to Florida from Annapolis.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Elizabeth Hurd; grandchildren Joseph Branham IV and Zachery Nuss; and a nephew, James Reale.

He was predeceased by a sister, Aldona Reale; and brothers Chester, Eugene and Joseph Szymanski.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville.
