Calvin Edward Green, 71, of Sunset Beach, formerly of Eldersburg, said "goodbye" Friday, November 14, 2014 surrounded by his family. Mr. Green was born on October 11, 1943 in Oella, MD, a son of the late Walter Edward and Irene Riley Green. He was a US Army veteran having served during Vietnam. Mr. Green retired as a claims adjuster with Social Security Administration. He was a proud member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, & Optimist Club in Eldersburg, MD and a member of Sandpiper Bay Dragon's Golf Club. Surviving are his wife, of 50 years, Nancy Reitz Green; two daughters, Kellie Green, of Sunset Beach, and Jackie Fattori, and husband, Adam, of Eldersburg, MD; brother, David Green, of PA, sister, Christine Ashby, of Halethorpe, MD; two grandsons, Dru T. Keyser and Matthew T. Keyser; his mother-in-law, Charlotte Reitz, and his sister-in-law, Sandy Brown, and her husband, Don. A Celebration of Life will be conducted from 12-4 pm on Saturday, December 20th at the Freedom Optimist Club, Eldersburg.
