Calvin Junior Collins, age 68, of Randallstown, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at the Season Hospice at Northwest surrounded by his family. Born April 1, 1947, in Sneedsville, TN he was the son of the late Lawrence F. Collins and Madaline Lambert. He was the husband of Cathy Perry Collins of Randallstown. Calvin had worked as a machinest for many years. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years, working on cars, cook outs, trips to visit family in Tennessee and most importantly spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter and son-in-law, Angela Renee Collins Winn and Franklin Edward Winn, II of Union Bridge, brother, Emmanuel J. Zephyr of Gatlinburg, TN, sister, Barbara Ann Collins Scelsi of Randallstown, grandchildren, Kristi Nicole Winn and Cody Dustin Winn of Union Bridge and special sister-in-law, Suzie Dearing. He was predeceased by his brother, with whom he worked with for many years, Darrell Collins who died on April 3, 2015. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a service will be held on Friday at 12:30 PM with his pastor Rev. John Nupp officiating. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Ellicott City. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the R. Wayne Feezer Memorial Scholarship Fund, 7200 Third Avenue C-146, Sykesville, MD 21784.
