On December 14, 2014, Ada Jane Campion, 94, of Manchester, MD, and formerly of White Hall, MD died peacefully. Born February 10, 1920 in Lansdowne, she was the wife of the late Joseph H. Campion, Sr. Ada was a loving wife of 69 years, a mother and homemaker on their farm for 65 years prior to moving to live with her daughter Mary and her husband Brian in 2008. Surviving are her sons Joseph H. Campion Jr. of Saultan, WA, Keith C. Campion, Sr. of Aberdeen MD, daughters Elaine K. Bode of Williamsport MD, and Mary R. Smith of Manchester, MD; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Family and friends will honor Ada's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Monkton, 16924 York Rd.(York & Monkton Rds. - Hereford), on Friday10-12PM with a service beginning at 12PM. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3184 Church St. Manchester, MD 21102.
