After a courageous battle with cancer Carl Neal Marsh passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family, friends and loved ones, on Sunday July 30, 2017, at the age of 71. He leaves behind his daughters Sheila Moran & husband Matthew, Angela Bushman, Melinda Reese & husband Scott and Juanita Batcheler. Carl had numerous grandchildren whom he adored, Wolfgang Kirby, Emily & Samantha Moran, Ashley Faulstich & husband Matthew, Breanna Rivera & husband Angeremy, Thomas Bushman, James Marsh, Leon Stigler, David Stigler and JD Carr. Carl was born on December 19, 1945 in Hopkinsville, Ky to father Roy Marsh and mother Florence Shemwell. He grew up in a large loving family with 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters. Carl enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam war in Germany, providing communication support. After his honorable discharge he returned to Baltimore, MD where he met and married Shirley Juanita Kidwell whom predeceased him in January 2010. Carl was a hard working dedicated man. He spent the majority of his career with The Baltimore Gas and Electric Company until retiring in 2002. He than drove parts for Westminster Auto Parts before accepting an offer from Lewis Tree Service until retiring in December 2016. Carl loved spending time with family, friends and his pets. He also loved the beach, fishing and crabbing. He was a magnificent cook and was always there to help anyone in need. At Carl's request there will be no service. However a celebration of his life will be held on August 13, 2017 from 2pm-6pm (Dress Casually) at: The Carroll County Agriculture Center, The Burns Memorial Hall, 706 Agriculture Center Drive Westminster, MD 21157.
