Carl Wallace Wyant, 72, of Finksburg, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born June 17, 1940, in New York, he was the son of the late Franklin John Wyant and Bertha Wright Wyant Coons. He was the husband of Cynthia Michelle Wyant.

He was a veteran of the Army. He had been a painter and truck driver.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Amy Wyant, and Carl James and Shannon Wyant, all of Burke, Va.; daughters and son-in-law Cynthia Jean Wyant, of Hampstead, and Catherine Christine and Todd William Fletcher Sr., of Sykesville; brothers William F. Wyant, of New York, Richard A. Wyant, of Maryland, and Charles J. Wyant, of New York; a sister, Margie Wyant, of New York; and grandchildren Amanda and Todd Fletcher Jr., Danielle Wyant, Allyssa Kleinfeldt, and Alexandra and Lauren Wyant.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service, 7 p.m. Tuesday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.
