Carolyn Davis Liebno Stem, 70, of Westminster, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at home.

Born Nov. 2, 1943, in Woodbine, she was the daughter of the late Truman Davis and the late Virginia Shifflet Davis. She was the wife of Michael Hunter Stem, her husband of 17 years.

She was a graduate of Milford Mill High School. She had worked for 48 years in the restaurant business and was co-owner and vice president of Aunt Kitty's Mini Storage in Winfield.

She was an avid golfer and a member of Piney Branch Golf Club for 16 years. She also bowled in several leagues.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter and son-in-law Wendi and Mike Driver, of Winfield; son and daughter-in-law Andy and Diana Liebno, of Mount Airy; grandchildren Jason Driver, and Jacob, Matt and Tim Liebno; sisters Janet Parrish, of Frederick, and Joan Holden, of Sykesville; and brothers Rudy Davis, of Tennessee, and Billy and Dalton Davis, of Sykesville.

She was predeceased by brothers Randy, Donald and Jackson Davis; and a sister, Jean Reeder.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. until time of service, 8 p.m. Monday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.
