Catherine Alice Reilly Kane, 100, of Sykesville, formerly of Bridgeport, Pa., died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Transitions Healthcare in Sykesville.

Born April 20, 1914, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Brady Reilly. She was the wife of Joseph Gregory Kane Sr., who died in 1990.

She was a homemaker. She graduated from St. Augustine Commercial Bridgeport School in 1929. She worked previously at the PA Railroad and as a bookkeeper at Tri-County Egg Producers. She was involved with the Women's Auxiliary at St. Eleanor's Roman Catholic Church for years. She had just celebrated her 100th birthday with her family.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Surviving are sons Joseph G. Kane Jr. and Gregory M. Kane; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, C. Carole Kane Bono; a son, John M. "Jack" Kane; sisters Mary Elizabeth Reilly, Frances Reilly (Sister Rose Carmel), Anna Marie Reilly, Phoebe Reilly Talone, Pauline Reilly Kuhn and Margaret Reilly Denczi.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg.

Visitation will also be held from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass, 10 a.m. Monday at St. Eleanor's Roman Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, Pa. Internment will follow in St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery in Upper Marion Township, Montgomery County, Pa.

The family requests no flowers.
