Catherine Janet DeBliek, 97, of Millers, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Longview Nursing Home in Manchester.

Born Aug. 21, 1915, in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Adrian John and Gertrude Orange. She was the wife of Jacob DeBliek, who died in July 1959.

She was a housewife and enjoyed working on her farm where she raised cattle, worked in the garden and raised fruit trees. Through the years she donated many cattle to River Valley Ranch. She was a founding member of Grace Bible Church in Manchester, and a devout Christian.

Surviving are daughters Carol Fox, of Millers, and Cathy Gannaway, of York, Pa.; a sister, Audrey Dorazowski, of Lititz, Pa.; grandchildren Michael Gannaway, Abigail Gannaway and Christine Gannaway Little; and a great-grandson, Jace Little.

She was predeceased by siblings William Orange, Henrietta Zentgraf and Barbara Orange Bisset.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Independent Church, 5010 St. Pauls Road, Millers. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
