Charles C. Graham, 85, of Hampstead, died Wednesday evening, June 25, 2014, at home, which is also his birthplace.

Born June 14, 1929, in Hampstead, he was the son of the late Carroll Chester Graham and Coral Florine Hundermark Graham. He was the husband of Janice Richards Graham, his wife of 56 years.

He was a veteran of the Korean War. He owned his own delivery business, RC Cola and Nehi, until 1964. He retired from the Department of Army Defense in 1992.

He was a member of the United Coon Hunters Association, the American Legion Post 200, and the VFW Post 467.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating with family and friends, and yearly trips to Crisfield and crabbing on the Bay.

He was the last of his immediate family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Charles Jr., William Joseph and wife Barbara, Lori Goodhart and husband Michael, and Donna Dupel; grandchildren Charles III, Cory and wife April, Christina, Collin, Amanda, and Leah; great-grandchildren Lynn and Andrew; and step-grandchildren Ryan and Allie.

He was predeceased by sisters Corola Ruzicka, Violet Rigler, Blanche Crispin, Doris Duncan, and Pansy Phillips; and brothers Harry and Samuel Graham.

Per his wishes, there will be no viewing or service. His body will be donated to the Anatomy Board of Maryland for medical study and research.
