Charles E. "Junior" Cooper, Jr., 52, of Baltimore, died Friday, February 26, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center. Born Jan. 29, 1964 in Baltimore, he was the son of Yvonne B. Brown and Charles J. Cooper, Sr., of Westminster. He worked as a teacher at Matthew Henson Elementary School and was an accomplished artist. He graduated from Westminster High School and Virginia Commonwealth University. He served in the Navy during the Gulf War and was a member of the American Legion Carroll Post No. 31. Besides his parents, he is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by a brother Eric Allen Cooper. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 12:30 P.M. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with Rev. Daryl Foster officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of services.
