Charles E. Green, 58, of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Hanover Hospital. He was the loving husband of Deborah S. (Kemper) Green, Hanover. Together they shared 33 years of marriage. He was born February 28, 1957 in Hanover, the son of Robert L. Green, Hanover and the late Grace (Sines) Green. Charles was employed with Snyder's-Lance, Hanover for over 20 years. A devoted husband and father, he worked hard to provide for his family. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed traveling to casinos with his wife. Charles was a member of the McSherrystown Moose, the Hanover Home Association and the New Oxford Social Club. In addition to his wife and father, Charles is survived by his daughter, Angela N. Green and fiancé Bradley Bair, Hanover; son, Andrew C. Green, Hanover; sisters and brothers, Christine Timberman and husband Tom, Taneytown, MD, June Shoff and husband Jerry, New Oxford, Leslie Aumen and husband Abe, Spring Grove, Robert Green and wife Michele, Westminster, MD, Mark Green and wife Michelle, Hanover, Christian Green and girlfriend Carla Gibson, Westminster, MD and Laura Jane Doan and boyfriend Richard Baublitz, Abbottstown; his wife's family, Craig, Jeff, Terry, Micki, Cindy and Pat and his favorite cat, Kitty. A service to celebrate the life of Charles E. Green will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover with Pastor Timothy J. Kielley officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM and again on Friday from 10:30 AM until the start of the service at the funeral home.
