Charles Joseph "Buck" Pusateri Sr., 73, of New Windsor, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Emeritus at Westminster.

Born April 14, 1939, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Josephine Hutson Pusateri.

He was a contractor and owner of Teri Construction and Remodeling. He was a 1957 graduate of the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. He served in the Army National Guard from 1958 until 1968. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and riding his bicycle.

Surviving are children Charles J. "Buck" Jr. and wife Glenda Pusateri, of Hedgesville, W.Va.; Robert C. and Laurie Pusateri, of New Windsor; John A. and Leigh Pusateri, of Westminster; Christopher J. Pusateri, of Westminster; and Allison M. Tom Kern, of Cooksville; siblings Doris Peraldo, of Hornell, N.Y.; Patricia A. D'Alessandro, of Perry Hall; Mary Hershner, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; Lois Oliver, of New Windsor; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, James Pusateri.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Officiating will be the Rev. Larry Adamczyk. Interment will follow in Pipe Creek Cemetery in New Windsor.
