Charles Kemp Kaminkow, 74 of Woodbine, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at home. Born June 7, 1941 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Maurice and Nellie Irene Kemp Kaminkow. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been a machinest in the aerospace industry for many years. He had worked as a bus driver and most recently at Cattail Creek Golf Course. He enjoyed motorcycles, fast cars, and street rods. Surviving are sister-in-law Mary Lou Kaminkow of Westminster, nephews Scott Kaminkow and his wife Shannon of Westminster, and Mike Kaminkow and his wife Kristin of Hanover, PA, great niece Anna Kaminkow, great nephew Adam Kaminkow, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Mark Leslie Kaminkow. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:00 PM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10am until the time of services. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville.
