Charles M. "Buck" Keyser, 98, of Westminster, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born July 2, 1915, in Annapolis, he was the son of the late Harry and Margaret Arnold Keyser. He was the husband of Doris C. Keyser, who died Dec. 9, 2005.

He was a project manager on the Gemini spacecraft for Martin Marietta, where he retired in 1975. He enjoyed golfing, duckpin bowling, softball and following the Orioles. He had been a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Catonsville.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Barbara A. and Edward Pontier, of Westminster; a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Keyser, of Eldersburg; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Charles T. "Tom" Keyser; a great-grandchild; and eight brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Thursday at Krug Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, with Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
