Charles Paul "Bud" Sinnott, 90, of Hampstead, passed away Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center in Westminster. Born August 2, 1925 in Union Bridge, he was the son of the late John Paul and Nellie Elizabeth Scheu Sinnott. He was the husband of the late Miriam V. Sinnott, who died in 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1949 until 1963. Following his service, he worked for Horn & Horn Cafeterias, from which he retired. Following retirement, he worked as a cashier at Lowe's of Westminster for 12 years, retiring from there at age 85. He was a Freemason and a member of Boumi Temple, Adherence Lodge #88 AF & AM, York Rite Masons and the Scottish Rite of Pensacola, Florida. Surviving are his three daughters, Diana McManus of Texas, Kathy Howard of Louisiana and Lisa Arcuri of Westminster; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 2, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Krug Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster with Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Regiment, 3025 John Quick Road, Quantico, VA 22134.
