Charles William Cull, Sr., 75, of Westminster, died December 7, 2014 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born June 9, 1939 in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Earl and Georgia Lee Downs Cull. He was the husband of Patricia Herron Cull, whom he married September 5, 1959. Charles was a Realtor and Associate Broker for Coldwell Banker for the last 28 years. Prior to that he was in private business and operated a fleet of 43 trucks and drivers across the Northeastern United States. He was a member of Wakefield Valley Bible Church. Charles was an avid golfer, a Baltimore Ravens and University of Kentucky Basketball fan, and traveled with his wife to 45 states across the country. He was a charter member and co-founder of Carroll County Business Professionals, chairman of Flying Colors of Success and had just been reappointed to serve on the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland for another 2 year term. Surviving in addition to his wife is son and daughter-in-law Christopher Todd and Heidi Eckhardt Cull of Westminster; grandchildren Chasity Nicole Watring and Christopher Charles Cull; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Betty A. McDougall of New Port Richey, FL, Phyllis J. Price of Florence, KY, Terry D. Herron of Cincinnati, OH, Janet M. and Barry L. Tucker of Florence, KY, H. Geoffrey Herron of Westminster and Marti S. and Thomas Hunt of Covington, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his son Charles W. Cull, Jr. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at PRITTS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Please use the Chapel entrance. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor David LeBlanc of Living Hope Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
