Charlotte Mann Sprinkle, 95, of Westminster, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her home at Golden Chrest Assisted Living. She was born on June 11, 1920 in Finksburg and was the daughter of the late Conrad and Elsie Wilhide Mann. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth A. "Coke" Sprinkle whom she was married to for 54 years and predeceased her in October of 1999. Charlotte was a graduate of Westminster High School class of 1936 and also received her business degree from Strayer Business College. After finishing college she worked as a legal secretary for Judge Parks and the law firm of Ralph Hoffman. She then worked as a secretary for the Board of Education of Carroll County, retiring after 23 years of service. She and her husband, "Coke", spent many happy years at their home on the Chesapeake Bay in Reedville, Virginia. She enjoyed entertaining her friends and family as well as the special times she spent with her granddaughter Nikki at the shore. She was a member of Westminster United Methodist Church, and Afton United Methodist Church in Ophelia, Virginia. Surviving her is son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey A. and Diane Shipley Sprinkle of Westminster; grandchildren Nicole "Nikki" Sprinkle of Seattle, WA, Aaron and Ashli Krug of Westminster; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Gladys Sprinkle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Catherine Bowers, Lester Mann, Earl Mann, Raymond Mann, and Pete Mann. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2-6pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with hospice Chaplain Rev. Art Monroe, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the start of the service. Private internment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Finksburg at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD 21157; Y of Central MD, 303 W.
