Christopher Edward Tully, 85, of Westminster, formerly of Chesapeake Isle, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Carroll Lutheran Village Healthcare Center.

Born April 1, 1927, in Audubon, N.J., he was the son of the late Christopher Joseph and Elizabeth Hanley Tully. He was the husband of JoAnn Keener Tully, whom he married June 9, 1951.

He was an Army veteran serving from 1944 until 1947 and had worked as a relocation coordinator in the personnel department of the DuPont Company in Wilmington, Del.

He was a longtime member of the US Power Squadron and Family Motor Coach Association. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and visited all 50 states, several Canadian provinces and Mexico, most of which were taken in their motor home.

He was active in many community and church activities as well as scouting and civic associations for many years.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters and spouses Kathleen and Isaac Menasche, of Westminster and Eileen and Woodrow Willey, of Annapolis; a grandson, David Menasche, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane and David McMahon, of Cedar Grove, N.J.; a niece, Carol Kucker; and a nephew, Edward Benner.

He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Benner.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service, 11 a.m. Monday at Carroll Lutheran Village, Krug Chapel, 300 St. Luke's Circle, Westminster, with Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz and the Rev. Dr. Wm. Louis Piel officiating. Interment will be private.

Arrangements are by Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel in Westminster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Carroll Lutheran Village Resident's Assistance Fund, 300 St. Luke's Circle, Westminster, MD 21158; and/or to the Salvation Army, Carroll County Service Center, P.O. Box 1948, Westminster, MD 21158.
