Cicely Geraldine "Mitch" Tucker, 89, of Westminster, formerly of Tiffin, Ohio, died early Sunday morning, Oct. 14, 2012, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House in Westminster.

Born in Manchester, England, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Lillian Russell Nichols. She was the wife of the late William Henry Thompson, whom she married July 4, 1945, in Hyattsville.

She was a retired assistant administrator at the Bel-Pre Nursing Home in Maryland. She was a member of the Old Trinity Episcopal Church in Tiffin and past member of St. Ann's Episcopal Church in Damascus, where she was active with the women's of St. Ann's "WOSA."

Surviving are children Claudia and husband Fred Feasel, of Tiffin, Neil Thompson, of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Marsha Minnick, of Westminster; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Treva Abbott; and brothers Ralph, Jeffrey and David Nichols.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 27, at St. Ann's Episcopal Church in Damascus. Interment will follow at St. Mark's Episcopal Cemetery in Fairland.
