Clara Susan "Mimi" "Claire" Contestabile, 88, of Westminster, died Monday, July 15, 2013, in Westminster.

Born June 11, 1925, in Malden, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Carmella and Carmelo Cuscuna. She was the wife of the late John A. Contestabile, her husband of 45 years.

She was a homemaker residing in Stoneham, where she raised her family and later in Leicester, Mass. For several years, she and her husband owned and operated the JB Rail Stop restaurant and nightclub in Spencer, Mass. In 1996, she moved to Westminster to be with her son and family after her husband's passing.

Throughout her life she volunteered her time and talent to her communities, serving as a Girl Scout regional coordinator, a dance school recital coordinator and a soup kitchen worker and devotional prayer volunteer for St. John's Catholic Church in Westminster.

Surviving are a sister, Lillian Kenney, of Billerica, Mass.; son and daughter-in-law John and Janice Contestabile, of Westminster; a daughter, Zephryn Conte, of Mesa, Ariz.; and grandchildren Jenna, Kaila and Jon Contestabile.

She was predeceased by brothers Tony and Arthur Cuscuna.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, 10:30 a.m. Friday at J. Henri Morin & Son Funeral Home, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer. Interment, alongside her husband, will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton, Mass.
