Clarence Elwood "Sinngie" Brown, 73, of Sykesville, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at home.

Born May 7, 1939, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Marcell Joseph and Hermione Roy Brown.

He served in the Air Force from 1957 until 1961. He had worked for many years at Fisher Body, a division of General Motors. He enjoyed sports.

Surviving are a brother, Marcell Lawrence Brown, of Ellicott City; five nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews; and seven great-great-nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. Monday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery in Ellicott City.
