Clifford Carl Fique, 90, of Westminster, died November 9, 2014 at Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center. Born October 7, 1924 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Clifford L. and Ella Bloomer Fique. He was the husband of Eleanor Scott Fique, whom he married October 28, 1945. Mr. Fique had been the Administrator of the Glenn L. Martin Customer Service School in the 1950s. He had been a teacher for many years in the Baltimore County School System. He had also retired from the Social Security Administration. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Merchant Marine. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Baltimore and his Master's Degree in Education from Western Maryland College. He was a member of Westminster United Methodist Church and enjoyed walking with his friends at the Westminster Town Mall. Surviving in addition to his wife are children and spouses Leonard A. and wife Sharon Fique of Sykesville, Laura F. and husband Steven Sinnott of Westminster and John F. Fique of Westminster; grandchildren William C. Sinnott, Roy M. Fique, Tabitha F. Baier, Daniel S. Sinnott and Craig A. Sinnott; and great grandchildren Annabelle and Eva. He was predeceased by brothers Frederick L and Robert L. Fique. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home with Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in Deer Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Carroll Lutheran Village Chaplaincy Fund, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158 or to the Howard County Conservancy, 10520 Old Frederick Rd., Woodstock, MD 21163.
