Mr. Clyde Diamond, Jr., 68, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, died suddenly Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Jefferson Medical Center, Ranson, West Virginia. He was the beloved husband of Debbie D. Diamond. Born August 1, 1946 in Jefferson, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Clyde, Sr., and Dorothy Martha Hunt Diamond. Clyde had worked for Holiday Tyler Printing in Rockville, Md. for 26 ½ years. For a short time he owned and operated Diamond Motors in Frederick, Maryland. He had recently retired after 22 years, as a Major, with the Maryland Correctional Institute in Hagerstown, he was Plant Manager of the print shop. Clyde was very much dedicated to his family and, had a great love and passion for working on cars, hunting and fishing, with his family. He had just completed his 48th year of spring trout fishing. Surviving besides his wife Debbie are five sons: Robert Clyde Diamond and wife Randi; Richard Alan Diamond and wife Jamie Marie; Jason Howard Diamond and wife Sheri Lynn; Casey Patrick Diamond and Katie Lynn; and Clyde Diamond III. Nine grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. One sister Doris Miller and husband Jim; and three brothers: Brack Diamond, Jack Diamond, and Jimmy Diamond. He is preceded in death by a sister Dorothy. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872 . Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request you make a donation in memory of Clyde Diamond to Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department, 8052 Martinsburg Pike, Shepherdstown, West Virginia 25443.
