James Connor Rousey, age 27, of Eldersburg, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at his home. Born March 1, 1988, in Towson, Maryland, he was the son of James W. Rousey and Joy Wilson Gill both of Eldersburg. Connor was a Chef. He was a graduate of Century High School, Class of 2006. Surviving in addition to his parents are brothers and sister-in-law; Patrick Rousey of Hanover, PA, Justin Rousey of Eldersburg, Daniel Gill of Eldersburg and Matthew and Melissa Kushel of Woodbine; sisters and brother-in-law; Kayleigh and Natalie Gill and Megan and Ian Farrel all of Eldersburg; grandmothers; Ruth Ann Rousey of Eldersburg and Ruth Wilson of Eldersburg; step-parents, Thomas Gill and Tammera Morrissett both of Eldersburg, uncle, Bruce Wilson of Eldersburg. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Rev. James Rousey and Herbert Wilson and uncle, John Mark Rousey. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am. Interment will be private. Those desiring may make memorial donations to a memorial fund in his name to help improve access for diabetic care, c/o: Carroll Hospital Foundation, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
