Cora Virginia "Ginny" Osterhus, 89, of Westminster, died Monday, May 26, 2014, at her daughter's house.

Born Jan. 4, 1925, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Paul C. and Carrie M. Doyle Leppo. She was the wife of Ralph S. Osterhus, who died in 1961.

She was a 1941 graduate of Westminster High School and a graduate of Baltimore Business School. She was a switchboard operator for Carroll County Bank, now BB&T.

She was a lifelong member of Carrollton Church of God, where she sang in the church choir, played piano and helped out with the ladies auxiliary. She would faithfully send cards to family and friends on every occasion. She also enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Charlotte and Edwin Magin, of Westminster; granddaughter Dolores Magin-Amonick and husband Michael, of Westminster; and great-grandchildren David and Daniel Amonick, MaryBeth, Paul and Christine Magin.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Robert Magin; and a brother, Robert Hugh Leppo.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Carrollton Church of God, 2151 Bethel Road, Finksburg, with the Rev. Dave Meador officiating. Interment will be in Carrollton Cemetery.
