Cornelia H. Corson-Reese, 78, of Westminster, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born July 23, 1935, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Hollen Busey Sr. and Cornelia Dorothea Elizabeth Zies Hoffman. She was the wife of the late John Camburn-Reese, who died April 22, 1996.

She was a graduate of Western High School in Baltimore, St. John's College in Annapolis and William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Va. She had been a dedicated teacher in Baltimore, Anne Arundel County, Williamsburg, Va., and Fairfax County, Va. She was a docent in Historical Williamsburg, Va., and at the Historical Society of Carroll County. She considered teaching to be her life's calling. She was an avid reader and enjoyed oil painting, knitting, traveling, concerts and dancing.

Surviving are son Blake T. Kline and wife Janet, of Wilbraham, Mass.; daughter Angelina C. Kline-Burgess and husband Edward Burgess, of Westminster; daughter Paula L. Corson, of Westminster; siblings Elinor Kerpelman, of Baltimore, Hollen B. Hoffman Jr., of Timonium, Margaret E. Roberts, of Woodlawn, Dorothea E. Rushworth, of Brewerton, N.Y., and Charlotte Lillard, of Elkridge; and grandchildren Jennifer, Allison, Emily and Alexander Kline and Genevieve, Edward and Cynthia Burgess.

She was predeceased by siblings Charles R., William H. and Ruth H. Hoffman.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. until the time of service, 7 p.m., with the Rev. Dahl Drenning officiating, at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Interment will be private in All Saints Episcopal Church Cemetery in Reisterstown.
