Cosmos Damian Quattro, 98, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his residence. Born on January 31, 1919 in Pierce, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Ralphael and Eva Hollenbach Quattro. He was the husband of the late Antoinette Marie Brocato Quattro. Mr. Quattro was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon, MD. Cosmos worked many years until he retired from the U.S. Coast Guard. He was also a proud veteran and served his country during World War II. He fought in the D-Day Invasion and was awarded the Purple Heart and two Bronze Star Medals. Surviving him are his children: Carmella Quattro-Hunt and husband Alan, Lauretta Quattro, Patricia Quattro Weber, Cynthia Quattro, Pamela Quattro Colbert and husband Edward, grandchildren: Dane Weber and wife Allison, Lauren Hunt, and Elisa Colbert, siblings: Angela King and Frank Quattro, and sister-in-law: Sister Rosalie Brocato. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by three brothers: Lawrence Quattro, Louis Quattro, George Quattro, and two sisters: Mary Salafia, and Eleanor Lapacik. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 29, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 1, at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD. Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD at a later date.
