Courtney Taylor Case, 24, of Westminster passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 14, 1991 in Baltimore County and was the daughter of Jacqueline Therese Schrenker-Case and the late Thomas J. Case, Jr. Courtney was a graduate of Westminster High School class of 2009. She was a current student at Tufts University, Massachusetts where she was majoring in psychology. She was an avid soccer player and had played for the Westminster Owls as well as various organizations in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League. She had been a member of the dance company at Tami Gee's Studio of Dance, and enjoyed skiing and traveling. Above all Courtney wanted to make a difference in the world and had a big humanitarian heart. Surviving in addition to her mother are her Aunt Sharon Wash Amen and husband Bill of Bellingham, WA; cousins Jenny and Brad; Uncle Rick Schrenker and wife Marilyn of North Reading, MA; cousins Jessica, Brandon, and April; and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents Thomas J. and Dorothy Case, Sr., and maternal grandparents Richard J. and Gloria Schrenker. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on July 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster with Rev. Kevin Clementson officiating. Interment will be private.
