Curtis Lynn Kesselring, 58, of Westminster, went to be with the Lord after his hard fought battle with ALS, on Sunday, October 7, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Curtis was born on March 12, 1959 in Hagerstown, and was the son of the late Donald Kesselring and Ann Taylor of Hagerstown; and step-son of Beverly Kesselring of Waynesborro, and Bunny Taylor of Hagerstown. He was the beloved husband of Mary Patricia "Patty" (Harris) Kesselring, his devoted wife of 11 years. Curtis drove big rig trucks for UPS during his working career. He was a member of Freedom Fire Arms and enjoyed going to the shooting range. He also liked to ride motorcycles; especially Harleys. Curtis was very handy, and could fix just about anything. He was a man of strong Christian faith and was a member of the Westminster Church of The Nazarene. Curtis was very selfless and always put others before himself. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife, mother, and step-parents are children Corey Holbert and fiancée Chrystal England, Derrick Holbert and wife Lisa, Patrick Holbert and fiancée Ashley Price all of Westminster; grandchildren Michael Holbert, Sierra and Justice Jordan, Tehya Karl, Ferrah and Aura Price- his newest grandchild that was recently born at the family home; sister Lisa Meckley of PA; brothers Jamie Kesselring of Waynesborro and Jack Kesselring of Hagerstown; mother-in-law and father-in-law Milton and Mary Harris of Westminster; sister-in-law Linda Harris of Westminster; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bob Kapfer officiating. Interment will be held in the cemetery of Church of The Nazarene, in Needmore, PA.
