David Alan Warren, 56, of Hampstead, passed away suddenly September 22, 2015 at his home. Born March 7, 1959 in Finksburg, he was the son of the late Landis Starkey Warren and Margaret Pauline Swan Lang. He was the husband of Nelly Cline Warren, his wife of 32 years. He was a machinist for the Harley Davidson in York, PA. He was a member of the Hampstead and Lineboro Volunteer Fire Companies. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider. Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters Dena Warren and her Fiancé William Sword of White Marsh and Alicia Patton and her husband Lucas of Taneytown; his uncle Harry Swan of Finksburg; and his aunt Dottie Swan of Finksburg; his stepfather John M. Lang of Hampstead; and survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Hill, Sr. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. A private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hampstead Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 231, Hampstead, MD 21074 or to the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department, 4224 E.
