David Allan DeVincent, 50, of Eldersburg, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 while vacationing in Hawaii with his wife, Debbie DeVincent, at his side. Born September 30, 1964 in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of the late Ray and Karen DeVincent. David worked in the building supply industry as a salesman for Rollin Supply in Rockville, MD. David enjoyed SCUBA diving, traveling, playing softball, and was an avid WVU and Steelers fan. David loved spending time with his family and friends. David is survived by his wife, Debbie DeVincent; daughters, Tia Marie Schoepfer and Allison Nicole DeVincent; son, David Allan DeVincent, Jr.; grandchildren, Kale and Reki Schoepfer; as well as numerous loving family and friends. Family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at Haight Funeral Home, 6416 Sykesville Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784 on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 6-8pm and Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 2-4pm with a memorial and life celebration service beginning at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Visitor "Aloha" Society of Hawaii (VASH), Waikiki Shopping Plaza, 2250 Kalakaua Avenue, Suite 403-3, Honolulu, HI 96815 (www.visitoralohasocietyofhawaii.org). The family would like to express their gratitude to VASH, a non-profit organization, who supported and assisted family through both the emotional and logistical hurdles encountered during this tragic event. David's generous spirit and love of life will be missed by all who knew him.
