David Eugene Malick, 21, of Hanover, Pa., died Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Philadelphia.
Born May 30, 1991, in Baltimore, he was the son of Pamela Tydings Malick, of Hanover, and the late John D. Malick Jr.
He had been a stocker in retail sales. He enjoyed playing sports, skateboarding, biking, video games and hanging out with family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are grandparents Jack and Janet Malick, of Waynesboro, Pa., and Gloria Tydings, of Hanover; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister, Amy Nicole Malick; a grandfather, Ellis Tydings Sr.; and an aunt, Peggy Malick Bidinger.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in New Oakland Cemetery in Sykesville.
