David Lee Longhenry, 66, of Glen Arm, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson.

Born Oct. 5, 1946, in Seattle, Wash., he was the son the late Frederick David Longhenry and Julia Ann Noonan Longhenry. He was the husband of Christine Elizabeth Longhenry, his wife of 32 years.

He was a veteran of the Army and was retired from Verizon Communications. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Hydes.

He enjoyed all kinds of music and working with computers.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Kathleen Longhenry; sister Maryann Bonning and husband Stuart; nieces Kate and Erin Bonning; and a nephew, Devon Bonning.

He was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Longhenry.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, with his pastor, the Rev. Monsignor Richard Cramblitt as celebrant.

A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester. Interment will be at a later date in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Att: Building Fund, P.O. Box 448, Manchester, MD 21102.
