David C. Miller, 77, of New Windsor, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Born March 4, 1938 in Maryland, he was the son of the late George C. Miller and Mary E. (Taylor) Miller. Before retiring he worked 35 years for Springfield Hospital Center in Sykesville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid collector of coins, music and movies. He is survived by children and spouses Amanda and David Bowman of Maryland, Vivian and Tony Norris of Wisconsin, Wanda Good of Florida, James David Miller of Maryland and Michael Ennis of Maryland, grandchildren Travis and Chase Bowman, Brandy Brooks, Tyler and Ashton Norris, Christopher and Bradford Harrison, and Blaine Griffith, great-grandchildren Skylar Brooks, Ronald Whittaker, Jr., Max, Aiden and Alexis Harrison and Tyler Hart, brothers Donald C. Miller of Knoxville, TN, Arnold W. Miller of Foster, RI and Charles P. Miller of Artemas, PA. Also survived by Barbara Miller, numerous nieces, great nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by sisters Mary Vivian Rose and Wanda Lee Barnes, brothers George R. Miller, John J. Miller, Cassias D. Miller and James F. Miller, who died as an infant. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Services and interment will be private.
