Dino Vincent Julio, 45, formerly of Reisterstown, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in Jefferson County, W.Va.

Born Dec. 9, 1966, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Rocco Vincent Julio and Joan Randall Julio.

He was a 1980 graduate of Sacred Heart School in Glyndon and a 1984 graduate of Mount St. Joseph High School in Baltimore. He was a mortgage broker in Baltimore and North Carolina from 1996 until 2009. In 2006, he opened his own mortgage company and in 2009, he pursued new opportunities in West Virginia. He was a member of the Sons of Italy and Mount St. Joseph Alumni Association. He was skilled in Hap-Ki-Do and earned a second degree black belt. He was asked by his Grandmaster Choe to compete professionally. He became a pro MMA kickboxer; and he enjoyed competing in body building and won many trophies for both.

He earned a varsity letter in track in his sophomore year; and enjoyed various sports and activities, such as 15 years of playing baseball and dirt bike racing.

He was known to be a kind and charitable person, and for his sense of humor. He enjoyed animals; and especially enjoyed time with his daughter.

Surviving are a sister, Donna Maria Julio; children Valerie Rianna Julio, of Charlotte, N.C.; former spouse, Michele Arlene Kurtz-Julio; aunts Gail DiJulio, of Pikesville, and Anita Savino, of Randallstown; and many cousins, including Frank DiJulio III.
